ASA Switchboard

The ASA Switchboard application has been constructed to provide validated, rule based data entry, a new automated web based work-flow, reporting and data entry modules that will provide data management, workflow automation and online resources for the School of Medicine Academic & Staff Administration offices. The primary focus of this application is currently the Faculty Recruitment Process with the first module, Position Requests, having been released in August of 2011. (More Info)

Cliff

The purpose of this application is to track, audit and approve non-salaried and voluntary clinical actions. Approvals will be made base upon an established approval hierarchy. Design considerations are being made to allow later incorporation of post-docs and senior clinical fellows into this application. (More Info)

SCONE SCONE is a document management system similar in capability to Sharepoint. It is based on the open source product Knowledge tree and allows members of the ASA team to share documents, create workflows, receive email notifications on document or folder changes and to securely check documents in and out of the system.(More info)
Business Administration
Alloc The allocation module, aka ALLOC, tracks current and historical commitments made by the Vice Chancellor and Dean or by Senior Management, along with revenue coming into the Dean's Office. ALLOC is a tool for long range planning to determine fund availability to cover commitments, reconciliation of fund balances, reporting to departments and senior management on commitments (historical and future), and to track state appropriations and other revenue sources (More info)

Front Desk The front desk staff at clinics within the Medical Center and School of Medicine receive patient co-payments in the forms of cash, checks, or credit cards. All batches processed by a cashier are summarized into one deposit summary. (More info)
Physician Time Study The Physician Time Survey (PTS) application is a web based application to assist with the collection and reporting of physician time distribution to Medicare. (More info)
